Wingspan: 3 inches (7.5 cm)
Composition: Sterling silver wire, steel scalpel blades,
Longines watch mechanism
Comments: I used the blowtorch to darken the wings,
and left the tips alone, lending them a white appearance in
comparison with the bluish-black. The blowtorch also turned
certain gears in the abdomen a bright blue, an effect I love.
